Summary of Drife Closed Investor Call 11-26-2022 Topics Discussed: Drife Council NFT, Funding, Subscriptions, Franchise NFT Drife Council NFT - The team is releasing this to faciliate the DAO structure. Drife is not the first ecosystem to have a council for their DAO. The Council helps create a structure to the DAO by approving/denying proposals and facilitating a smooth governance. - The DAO and the Council is a way for the you, the community, to have a say in the direction of drife and decentralize operations so that the team doesn't make all decisions without community input. - Certain utilities will be implemented right away such as the closed council calls, priority staking, being able to represent the Drife Brand, exclusive access to Drife Events. The closed calls will be in partner with Huddle01, a decentralized zoom - There is monteary reward for participating in the council and owning a council NFT. The biggest ones are priority access for staking and earning a portion of franchise set-up fees for every franchise that goes live - The whitelisted NFTs will be cheaper than the public sale NFTs. All of the 200 supply is open for whitelisting. That means, if we sell out on white list, there will be no public sale. We want to put everything to whitelist/private sale because we want true DRF investors and supporters to head the council, not people who hear about Drife just based on the NFT and are looking for a trading opportunity - Concerns were brought up regarding the price of the NFT and not having access to an NFT based on monetary reasons. The team will look into this but the price will be set because of the vast benefits holding this NFT will give. - Concerns were brought up about this just being a way to raise money in the time of the bear market and this was addressed by stating that these NFTs were in progress for months and the idea was always to have a council. This is not a spur of the moment idea. We are working with a 3rd party company to bring this DAO live. - Concerns were brought up for those who question Drife's ability to survive in the coming months and why should they purchase an NFT at this time. This was addressed by stating that this is a 4 year project thus far and is only continuing to grow. Although progress has been somewhat slow, a lot of other projects are already gone and Drife is still here and plans to be here in the future. Funding - A lot of potential investors were turned down because they did not coincide with the Drife vision. They wanted to treat Drife as just another ridesharing company and did not care for the Drife ecosystem and DRF token. - Drife will always stay true to its vision and whitepaper and will not work with such investors. - Drife is in contact with several investors who understand this, one being a group that has been talking a lot about us lately. Firdosh is fairly confident we will be take to talk more about this in the coming weeks - Firdosh states that if only even 30% of our drivers paid a subscription fee, it would be enough to sustain operations Subscriptions - Plan was to go live in October but the tech was still being worked on. A model was derived so that even if drivers don't pay the monthly fee, they will be automatically opted into the daily subscription - The team believes they will retain almost all of their drivers with this new subscription model (lose almost no drivers) - Now that the tech is ready, Surya believes the subscription will go live in 1-2 weeks. Franchise Staking - First franchise staking will go live soon, possibly even by the end of the year/early next year - Concerns were brought up regarding the 10M threshold. The team is looking into this to see how big they can make the pool so that more people can stake. - The 100M pool sold out quickly so they will look to see if they can democratize the process more. However, owning a council NFT will give you priority for the franchise staking pool.
