Roadmap
- Hoping to be released by next week
- The team agrees that they are trying to "go big" this year and not limit Drife to just Bangalore
- The Roadmap will also integrate DRF
- There is a lot of excitement for our ambitions
App Updates
- Tweaked and optimized maps
- Improved optimizations to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- UI updates
Operations
- We currently have 35-40% of existing drivers in Bangalore using Drife and we're looking to grab a larger market share
- December 2022 has been the best month so far for rides
- This week we launched the "Ride for Business" feature, which allows you to schedule rides in advance. So far the response has been very good and this should help greatly with the supply side. Also, this will make Drife the only application which caters to requests. The taxi industry is actually significantly larger than the ridesharing industry and now Drife can supersede other apps like whataspp, etc, which are notoriously used to help pre-book taxis.
- The application for Ride for Business is whitelisted only right now and not public yet.
- At this time, we are not exploring "ride sharing" or multi-rider options. Others have already tried in Bangalore and did not have success with it, especially with COVID.
- We are in discussion with ride aggregators and public transportation apps who are interested in plugging Drife into their applications
- We have also started onboarding auto rickshaws and are looking for the appropriate time to launch.
- Averaging 7-8k rides per week
Subscriptions
- Started charging subscription from 2nd of January. The only subscription live is a daily subscription.
- So far 2000+ drivers are paying daily subscription.
- The rate is 200 INR per day
- We would like to get the monthly subsription up and rolling soon during this quarter
- Surya says we are close to reaching "monthly break-even" with the amount of drivers we currently have using Drife
DRF Token
- Working on a feature that would allow those who generate referral income to generate that in the form of DRF. The DRF will be bought from the open market to be sent as a referral.
Drife Council
- Looking to hold first council meeting soon
- In the next 6 months, will look to branch out to further council members for a total of 50
- First significant topic will be working towards the franchising staking
Franchise
- Compliance and legal work for franchisee system is still in process.
- Firdosh says no significant further updates at this time until the time is right.
